Professionally I am a Project Manager, having worked for Apple, and currently for a local technical college. I know what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck, I have never been what you would consider well off. I was laid off from Apple back in 2023, after working for them for 17 years. That sudden shock, and scramble to find what I was going to do next rattled me to my core and took a good year before I really had a solid footing under myself.

In my day to day, I am what you would traditionally call a geek, nerd, and even dork. I like Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Comics, Games, Lego and Action Figures. Nothing brings me more joy than just spending time with my family, and getting to hang-out with my best friend, my wife. When I was a kid my dad would always say “You need to go to school to learn the golden rule.” At the time I was too young to realize that I already lived my life with the idea that you treated others as you want to be treated. I understand that everyone has their own beliefs, likes, and ideas on how they see the world and I am accepting of the fact we are all different.

I would say it was that acceptance that made me be a good listener, I didn't want to make waves and for most my life just never wanted to be a bother. I guess you could say I am an introvert, in most cases but over the last few months and years I have been finding it harder and harder to just sit on the sidelines. What can I do with my voice, how can I take action, and is it time to step and do something a little bit crazy?

As I further explore this crazy idea of running for congress, I will share more about myself and where I stand on things, but aI will also listen. I don’t know everything, I can’t even pretend to know everything but I am open to learn, to listen, and to represent our district.
